Immergrün, Inc. was formed in 2003 by Dr. Nirdlinger and Mr. Drescher. The objectives of Immergrün are to provide medical care to Amish and Old Order Mennonites at rates that are affordable to them and to promote their health through education and other preventive measures. The organization will endeavor to build enough financial reserves to enable it to defray the costs of those without the means of paying their own bills. While patients have to be in the area, Immergrün will also provide, at reasonable cost, local housing for patients, family and their drivers.

Our patients currently stay at the Red Roof Inn or Comfort Inn near the surgery center. We are able to negatiate discounted rates ranging from $40/night to $55/night, including continential breakfast (rates subject to change, call or contact the hotels directly for more details). The ultimate goal is to acquire a property owned by Immergrün where patients can stay for only a few dollars a night. As of now, however, we are unable to keep a facility like this staffed or funded.

For further information about the organization and how it works, read our by-laws.
