Immergrün, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that negotiates fair-cost health care for Amish and Mennonite communities all over the United States. Since its creation, Immergrün has served over 900 patients, and that number is increasing at a rapid rate. About 29% of our patients come from Indiana, 26.5% are from Ohio and 14% are from Pennsylvania.

We are currently negotiating with hospitals in many states to expand our program to include physicians and facilities in those areas. For more information on these continuing efforts, please call our offices. Our efforts to obtain agreements with hospitals and doctors closer to Anabaptist communities have resulted in agreements with a number of organizations. For a complete list, click here or email us.

We are able to provide these lower rates because physicians, physician groups, laboratories and facilities will negotiate lower prices with an established group rather than individuals. We are also able to guarantee payment to these groups because we receive payment from the patients and then pay the providers.

In most cases, we provide an estimate to patients and have them pre-pay according to that estimate. If for some reason we are unable to provide an accurate estimate or if complications arise, the providers are still paid by us and then we bill or reimburse the patient accordingly.

Immergrün has also started a Health Information Newsletter. For $7 (to cover the cost of postage and production), you can receive a newsletter once every quarter (4 times per year) covering health topics of all kinds, from diabetes and hypertension to joint problems and weight loss. People can subscribe by sending a check and your name and address to the address at the top of the page.
